New top deck for Queen Emma Bridge

Pontoon Bridge out of service due to major refurbishment

Curaҫao’s beloved floating Queen Emma Bridge will be taken out of service for repairs on August 17, 2015. During this time the top deck will be completely replaced, while at the same time an overall inspection will take place, and/or any repairs of the entire bridge structure.

The bridge has been taken to another location inside the harbor where the repairs can be done under calmer and safer circumstances.

The schedule of our ferry service has been adjusted as follows for the duration of the repairs:

Weekdays:

05:00 – 06:00 — service with 1 ferry

06:00 – 23:00 — regular service with 2 ferries

23:00 – 24:00 — service with 1 ferry

24:00 – 05:00 — service once every hour with 1 ferry

Weekends:

05:00 – 06:00 — service with 1 ferry

06:00 – 23:00 — regular service with 2 ferries

23:00 – 01:00 — service with 1 ferry

01:00 – 05:00 — service once every hour with 1 ferry
