Mega Pier Update

Equipment mobilization and offsite concrete construction is under way.

Monday morning at 06:15 the Marlin crane barge left safely and fully packed from the cruise terminal in IJmuiden for her trip to Curacao. She is expected to arrive mid January. Concrete is manufactured in a special process with high tension cables in the Netherlands and will soon be shipped to Curacao. The remaining and majority of concrete used to build the pier will be manufactured in Curacao.
