CPA renews contract with Curoil

The public limited companies Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA) N.V. and Curaçao Oil (Curoil) N.V. signed a renewed agreement to facilitate bunkering services

The public limited companies Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA) N.V. and Curaçao Oil (Curoil) N.V. signed a renewed agreement to facilitate bunkering services within and from the harbours of Curaçao. ‘The renewed agreement is a modernized version of the previous one and reflects the responsible manner in which CPA manages commercial developments within the ports’, states Humberto de Castro CPA’s CEO.

With over 30 years of experience in supplying bunker fuels, Curoil is well equipped to offer year-round bunkering services to different types of vessels including drill ships calling at the Curaçao ports. In connection herewith, the Curaçao Ports Authority facilitates with bunker berths in the St. Anna Bay channel, at the Megapier and soon at the new to be constructed Megapier 2. At these berths, Curoil is able to supply all fuel oil grades and gasoil to their customers.

With the renewal of the agreement, both companies look forward to further strengthen their business relationship, consequently securing provisioning of quality services from the ports of Curaçao.
