Curaçao Towage Company is expanding her horizon

The Curaçao Towage Company (CTC) has been making history for the past years by doing splendid jobs not only in the harbor of Curaçao but also in the region. The tugboats of CTC have demonstrated to have the capacity to do great jobs and the professionalism of the personnel is considered to be one of the top ranked of the world and specially the Caribbean. This has been shown once again during their recent job.

The tugboat “Manta” departed to Colombia last 17th of October on a mission. The task was to transport barges from the harbor of Buenaventura, Colombia all the way through the south pacific coast and central America and ending at the harbor of Manzanillo in Mexico. “Manta” had a hard journey because of the high waves and very rough weather conditions, but the personnel of CTC on board of the tugboat managed the journey with professionalism to a great success.

The professionalism of the Curaçao Towage Company is well known in the region and all over the world. The demand for the services of the Curaçao Towage Company is growing very fast. Due to this demand the CTC has signed a contract with Damen in the Netherlands for another tugboat. The boat is going to be named “Mero” (def: a type of fish).

The management of Curaçao Ports Authority is very proud of the achievements of Curaçao Towage Company, which is a subsidiary of CPA, and wants to congratulate especially the crew of “Manta” for a job well done.
